Bookcrossing

Bookcrossing is an international phenomenon originating in Singapore. Anyone can leave a book they have read in a public place (bus, taxi etc.) for the next person, who will also leave it for someone else to read. Bookcrossing boks are labelled so that they can be traced. In Singapore, the National Library Board has promoted the idea - by now, 2,000 official hot spots exist where people will always find books.
